Clean Access Agent

Installation Procedure

Open your web browser and browse to an off campus website. A message will come up that you are being redirected to the network authentication page. The following Login box will come up. Login with your JBU network username and password.

If you are using Windows XP Media Center Edition you will need to contact the HelpDesk before proceeding.

The following login screen will come up after you login. Read this screen. Click the Download Clean Access Agent button.

A box will then popup asking if you would like to Open, Save or Cancel the download. Some of you will see the option of Run instead of open. Click Open or Run.

Follow the prompts to install the Clean Access Agent software. Once it is finished the following screen will come up. Type your username and password then click Login.

A Clean Access agent screen will popup and let you know that you have Temporary Access. Click Continue.

The Clean Access agent will check your machine for up to date Windows as well as Antivirus software. On all required screens you must install what is needed before you will be allowed access to the internet. This process may take up to an hour or longer depending on how up to date your system is and your computer speed.

Below is an example of a required update screen. On any requirement screens click the Go To Link option and follow the instructions for installing what is needed.

After all Required Software is installed an Optional Software window may be displayed. Please install these as well. Your computer will be redirected to the Windows Update website. Follow instructions on that site to update. See example of Optional Software window below.

After you have installed all of the Required Software and the Optional Software you will be granted access to the JBU Network.
